Key Stakeholders to Attend this Meeting

The chosen stakeholders for this meeting are administrators, the chief officers of nurses and physicians, the director of health professionals education services, the chairperson of the information technology department, the head of the patient services and quality assurance department, the director of the budgeting and finance department, the patient safety coordinator, and the head of the policymaking department. The reason to choose stakeholders from these departments is to ensure that a collaborative approach is used to bring changes in the healthcare organization and ensure sustainability for better patient outcomes (Kaiser et al., 2022).

Although all of these people will be an equal part of this project, this project will be most beneficial for the chief officers of nurses and physicians. The reason behind this is the technology that we are introducing has a greater impact on improving healthcare quality by reducing the errors in healthcare practices, resolving the issue of shortage of staffing, and enhancing interprofessional communication, which are the major concerns for the chief officers of healthcare professionals.

The success factors of these technologies depend upon the role of the healthcare professionals’ education department. They are primarily responsible for providing effective education to the professionals related to the application of the technologies. Effective education and training will assist in a smooth transition for staff into the new technological care and make the project sustainable for the long term in the healthcare organization (ten Haken et al., 2021).

The administrators and policymakers are the upper-level leaders who will play a vital role in approving the project and providing timely management of the project to achieve success. Whereas, finance and budgeting personnel and the IT department will provide the necessary resources (monetary and technical) for the implementation of the project. The staff from the patient safety and quality assurance department will be responsible to conduct a risk-benefit analysis of the technologies and will provide constant support in monitoring the effectiveness of the technological advancements.
