The goal is to establish an efficient learning environment, providing nursing staff with resources aligned with our mission, vision, values, and goals. This not only reaffirms our commitment to excellence in nursing education but also underscores our dedication to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

    Planned Change

    The introduction of a Learning Management System (LMS) marks a shift from in-person to digital-focused learning for our nursing staff. This state-of-the-art platform offers accessibility, user-friendly features, and interactive learning options to improve the learning experience. Training modules will cover various nursing topics, contributing to enhanced patient care. This technological advancement demonstrates our commitment to advancing nursing skills and delivering high-quality patient care (Mahdavi Ardestani et al., 2023).

    Implementation Steps

    Our implementation plan for the Learning Management System (LMS) is meticulously organized to ensure a smooth transition. The steps include vendor selection and procurement, system setup and customization, content migration, training for trainers, user training, system launch, and continuous review and improvement (Akinola & Telukdarie, 2023; Poór et al., 2020; Li & Yu, 2022).

    Resource Requirements

    Successful implementation requires careful allocation of resources in four critical areas: Human Resources, Capital Resources, Budget Projections, and Technical Support Requirements (Maslov et al., 2021; Mahmoud & Withorn, 2023). Each area’s significance is outlined to establish a foundation for the new educational technology.

    End-user Training Requirements

    Acknowledging varying levels of digital proficiency among nursing staff, a detailed training program is developed. This program assesses the current knowledge level, sets clear performance expectations, and provides initial and ongoing support. The goal is not just a transition to the LMS but empowering personnel for the digital future of healthcare education (Li & Yu, 2022; Poór et al., 2020).

    Evaluation Plan and Measurement of Effectiveness

    To evaluate the LMS’s effectiveness, we plan to measure performance improvements, user satisfaction, and impact on patient care outcomes. Data-driven decision-making based on periodic competency tests, user satisfaction assessments, and monitoring patient outcomes will guide adjustments for continuous improvement (Mahdavi Ardestani et al., 2023; Mahmoud & Withorn, 2023).

    Future Plans

    Data collection and analysis will inform necessary adjustments to improve the LMS, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
