    Many chronic diseases are prevalent across the nations worldwide. These diseases affect millions of people every day and impair their healthy living.  Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the chronic diseases which needs ongoing treatment and management. Majorly diabetes is of two types, type 1 diabetes, and type 2 diabetes. In the former, insufficient insulin production is done by the pancreatic cells of the body. While in type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance is the cause of hyperglycemia.

    In this type, cells are producing sufficient insulin but the body is unable to utilize it due to resistance development. It requires social, economic, and human resources for its adequate treatment and management. This poses different challenges to the nurses who are actively managing disease & providing care treatments and to patients being financially affected due to the disease (Khan et al., 2019). Every day healthcare systems are bringing innovative ideas and research to manage and treat diabetes so that diabetics can live their life like others without living at the mercy of diabetes where any severe fluctuation in glycemic control can implicate harmful and even lethal consequences.

    Communication and Collaboration Strategies for Nurses to Research and Access Resources

    Research methodology is an important subject for nurses in order to provide credible treatment and management to diabetes patients.
